Question about coding

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I did a search before I posted this and couldn't find an answer, so if this has been asked before I am sorry.

I am trying to find the code so that I can put a little picture on the side of my blog that advertises my blog for someone to put on their site. I want the code for the picture and to link it back to my blog under it so it makes it easy for others to add to their blog. (does that make sense)

I have been looking for awhile online and cant seem to word it right to find a tutorial. I did find one and I put all the information about my blog where it should be, but the direct link to the picture (I use photobucket) kept coming up as a question mark.
