PROBLEMS IN CHANGING TEMPLATES AND PLACING GOOGLE ADSENSE AD
Hello Everyone,
My name is Emeka, I'm a newbie in blogging and "i' using blogger.com as my blog platform. At the moment I have two blogs with just two post in each of the blogs. I have two main motives of joining the blogging community. The first being the idea of sharing my views and thoughts as well as communicating with people in my niche community and the second motive is making some money with my blog with blogger.com and google adsense being my vehicle of choice for the blogging platform and monetization respectively. Right now though I'm encountering some major problems with blogger.com and I'll really appreciate it if anyone can assist me in solving this problems becuase they are really curbing my progress.
The first problem is with my template. After choosing a specific template, I can't seem to be able to change it, I've seen several e-books and articles (eg an e-book called " GETTING STARTED WITH BLOGGING AND ADSENSE BY JOEL COMM) on how to change it but the procedures do not just follow which I feel is as a result of "outdatedness".
The second problem which I'm encountering is the placing of Adsense Ads-codes on and around the blog. this is one real big issue. One Ad unit appears on the bottom of the post only. What I really want to do is to place an AD unit most prferably a 468 by 15 horizontal row text link on the very top of the page or post. The second is placing another Ad unit on the Side bar, maybe a skyscrapper,button or vertical link unit and lastly placing an Ad unit in the main area. I also wouldn't mind a google search box at the topp right hand corner of my post but for now I would like to first and foremostly tackle the main issues at hand.
Please and please can anyone help, somebody, anybody, isn't this forum created fjor the purpose of helping onw another? As the saying goes 'one good turn deserves another'. I'm anxiously and sincerely awaitng a helpers reply. thanks a great deal.
