New Blogger Help
Hi, I recently started a new blog on blogger, and I'm having 2 minor issues that I hope can be resolved easily.
1.) Unlike my old blog where I created sub-pages myself with extensions, this new "pages" feature seems to be missing several options when posting from anywhere, less the main page. My guess is that I can create a page, write my blog from my main page (with all posting features) then simply save it as a draft and reindex the extension to appropriate page.
I ask for 2 reasons, (A) in sub-page posts it doesn't allow me the page-break feature with the "read more" link to shorten articals. (B) also it seems more conveinent to 'edit' posts in (1) click, rather than edit pages. Not sure if sub-pages and their content get better recognition as stand-alone pages or search wise, but i'd rather more content be recognised on main page with a redirect, than hidden in a sub-page. Any advice as to which is more search friendly?
2.)Finally, I bought a domain from Registry Rocket (HG) and switched my blogspot.com to just example.com only I keep getting 502 error code. Being thats a server to server issue, i'm guessing I need to change the DNS settings with blogger to redirect?
Kinda lost on this one. So for now, I just put it back under blogspot.com til I can get some direction. Had I known blogger sells domains, I wouldv'e prob just got it from them.
Thanks for any help you can give.
