Need help posting on a new page!

Please help I just started my blog and I am trying to post on a new page but everytime I try it goes to the first page. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

You have probably already figured this out since the post is a few days old. If you are talking about a post it go's to the index page by default. You do also get 10 free static pages which don't have comments or show up in your sidebar archives. You have to manually link them wherever you want or use the optional widget when publishing your static page.

Settings > Posting > Edit Pages


You also have
Settings > Posting > Edit Post
which is what you are currently using to post

This might not be the answer you are seeking but going by your question this is what it sounds like.
