How To Implement Nav Banner on my Blog

Hi all,

I'd like to add a navigation banner to my blog
Here is my existing blog without a nav bar underneath the blog title

And here is an alternate layout template that i've set up on a private blog, which includes a red nav bar



I'd like to extract the bits of codes from the latter and add them to my template, but I don't really know what I'm looking for and I thought I'd ask you all before I start messing around with my html code for hours.

what do you mean of navigation banner? is it use image? and i think people usually use navigation link, not for navigation banner.
can you explain more about your problem?
