How to create my own Blogger Template?

Hello.. I want to make my blog unique..but I'm a html dumb. Can anyone explain me how to create my own Blogger Template?
I know photoshop a bit..
One of my friends said, its a bit hard to design blogger template.. Is it..?
If it's hard, can anyone tell me some good sources to find Blogger templates..?

Well..yea You need some knowledge on html, xml and css aswell. It's a bit tough thing for a newbie.
And You can download Blogger Templates from BloggerTricks.com itself.
Other good sources are Falconhive.com, BloggerBuster.com,etc.

You need basic knowledge and understanding how css,html and xml work.
I converted this theme from a wordpress theme and it took long time to finish it.When I started I know only a bit of html.

The program I use to make templates is Netscape Composer 7.1 is a great program and easy to use. You could go to download site and find the program and some tutorials.
