hide labels on main page of blogger

Hello friends,

i want to hide Labels, shearing buttons etc on blogger main page.

i found similar to this on this forum (how-do-i-hide-the-labels-under-each-post-t101.html).

But my question is different. i want to hide labels only on main page, but labels should show on post pages only.

Please let me know if any one can help me.

Go to Template > Edit html and download the template (.xml format) and attach the file here. or upload it to rapidshare,etc..and post the link here... I'll edit the template and send it to you.. coz.. 'the edits' depend on the template...

Actually i am planning to create a template like http://www.zdnet.com/news . Atleast similar to this. But trying from 5-6days i cant. i dont have any coding knowledge, its difficult for me. I have created 3 row column, added background color, fonts and colors i can try. I need....

1. Leave space between top screen and header like http://www.zdnet.com/news
2. And menu with red background like http://www.zdnet.com/news

can you plz help me on this...
