Falknerpress: Footer Moved to Right Bar...

I've seen this problem posted by many others who are trying to get Falknerpress template working, and have never seen the resolution for this problem posted anywhere. What happens, is that after changing the home_page URL to the following:

home_page = "http://netherwatch.blogspot.com/";

the mini update indeed shows the most recent post tiles made. However, the entire footer moves over into the lower right sidebar and covers up the mini update display. To see how it looks: http://netherwatch.blogspot.com

For browser specifics: most recent Mozilla Firefox update was installed.

Interestingly enough, as long as the URL was kept stock the way it came, it displayed the demo mini update just fine. Is this template just too old and outdated to work with modern Blogspot technology? It sure is beginning to seem that way, though just an assumption on my part.
