Re: Excellent Magazine Style Blogger Template "Falkner Press"

I followed the tutorial on two websites, one is working perfectly .. The other not so much.

http://valbizuresjr.blogspot.com/ <- working fine
http://www.movieshares.co.uk/ <- overlapping on main page

One site is mine, one was updated for a friend. I'm using www.blogger.com to update them so I'm not sure how to upload txt files people talk about. The funny thing is that on the first site I didn't upload anything it just worked ...

Thanks in advance for taking a look

Re: Excellent Magazine Style Blogger Template "Falkner Press"

hi, i'm following your link.

first of all, nice template. it's awesome, but i'm having technical trouble that's my fault.

first, i can't edit the logo because i don't have photoshop and i'd be too stupid to use it if i did.

secondly, how do i remove or edit the slideshow?

thirdly, can you give me some pointers on editing the layout so i get the posts in the middle and the gadgets on both the left and right side. this trick i managed on my own with a previous template, by editing the html, so i do have some hope of getting that done with my own limited knowledge.

my blog is at boxingonetwo.com and is appropriately titled boxing one two. if you visit the site, you can see i'm using a generic picture taken from google images that i like.

thank you for any advice or assistance you can offer. i appreciate it immensely.

Re: Excellent Magazine Style Blogger Template "Falkner Press"

SORRY for all for not responding to any questions... my exams are going on.. I'll be back after May 30th.

and I saw.. lot of people having problems with overlapping of images on the homepage.. and for some ' Mini Updates ' is not working.. I've fixed them.. ( Problem is.. I've uploaded the .txt files to my google sites account.. seems like bandwidth exceeding at regular intervals.... Now.. I removed the hotlinking and directly added the javascript codes to the template itself.. using my trick.. http://www.bloggertricks.com/2009/09/ho ... -your.html ).. Now.. the problem is fixed.. Download a fresh copy and you can install it with ZERO problems....

for all the logo's ,etc.. I'm sorry guys.. I'll be available only after May 30th...

I'm back..

Hey, I know this is an old forum, but I don't have photoshop, and was wondering if someone could help me out with making a logo. The Football Sack is the name of the site, and some sort of darker yellow in the text would be amazing! Cheers to anyone that can help!

Hi kranthi,

great template!

I've started on it for my blog but the about me/bemyfriend/advertisement is not showing up correctly on the bottom.
Is there something i'm doing wrong? See what I mean at http://joejoints.blogspot.com

FYI, I'm also getting syntax errors (see below). Not sure if that's related.
