Re: Excellent Magazine Style Blogger Template "Falkner Press"

Hello Kranthi!

First I want to congratulate you for your amazing website, it had been a lot of help for my lil' blog, and then I want to thank you for the support you are giving in the forum.

I'm totally loving this template right now, but looking at this thread it's easy to believe that it could be such a headache for some people.

I'm such a newbie at this point so please forgive if I'm asking you a silly question...

1. At the botton of the template there's some gadgets I'd like to get rid of ("About Me", "Be My Friend" and "Advertisement") how can I do that?

2. I want to change the gadget "Subscribe for Updates" for my flash music player, is there any way I can do that?

3. Can I change the background colour? I want to make it blue navy.

4. About the slideshow pictures, is there a way to implement the gadget from http://www.slide.com/ for this?

5. I've been trying for hours to use the trick for "Related Posts with thumbnails" and it doesn't seem to work with this template, I don't use linkwithin 'cause it doensn't use the label to make the matches, what can I do?

I Hope you could help me
Thanks in advance

How do I put more Pics for the Slideshow?

I've tried it but didn't work.

  Code:
<!-- Fourth Picture Start -->
      <div class='imageElement'>
         <h3>the L word</h3>
         <p/>
                  <a class='open' href='http://hidebehindthesun.blogspot.com/search/label/the%20L%20word' title='Seguir Leyendo'/>

         <img alt='the L word' class='full' src='http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo151/Jack_Twist2009/Plantilla%20HBTS/theLword.jpg'/>
         <img alt='http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo151/Jack_Twist2009/Plantilla%20HBTS/theLword.jpg'/>
      </div>
      <!-- Fourth Picture End -->

   </div>

<!-- Fifth Picture Start -->
      <div class='imageElement'>
         <h3>Sophie Ellis-Bextor</h3>
         <p/>
                  <a class='open' href='http://hidebehindthesun.blogspot.com/search/label/Sophie%20Ellis-Bextor' title='Seguir Leyendo'/>

         <img alt='Sophie Ellis-Bextor' class='full' src='http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo151/Jack_Twist2009/Plantilla%20HBTS/Sophie.jpg'/>
         <img alt='http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo151/Jack_Twist2009/Plantilla%20HBTS/Sophie.jpg'/>
      </div>
      <!-- Fifth Picture End -->

</div>
</b:if>

Fourth work well, but fifth doesn't.

Please Help me Kranthi, I'm desperate seeking for your advice.

This is an absolutely awesome template. I was able to tweak pretty much everything I wanted. The only thing I can't figure out is how to remove the header tags that pop up on the Slideshow. I would like to have it where there is no text on my images, they just rotate after a period of time. Is that possible? If so, could you give me an example of how the string needs to be inputted? Thank you for all the hard work and the awesome product =D :adore:

Re: Excellent Magazine Style Blogger Template "Falkner Press"

I have installed the delicious Falkner Press yesterday and spent a whole day AND night customizing it and everything. I managed to debug most of the stuff except for the Recent Post thingy. Would reeaaally appreciate if someone gives me a headsup on what is going wrong. Here is a screenshot:

First of thanks for the great template . To say it`s improved my blog is an understatement . I`ve managed to get it almost up and running fine . One problem my logo . You mentioned in your post you would be willing to help out . Please if it`s not to much bother can you make me a logo . My logo just ruins the feel of the template .

Cheers.
