Could I really earn money?

Hey, I just started a blog... I didn't start the blog to earn money really but after coming to this site, it seems it can be possible. I was just wondering how long do you think it would be to start earning money, months/years or does it depend? Also what kind of traffic would I need to be getting?

Have multiple income streams. Here are some ways:

It really depends on you, will you earn money or not, however the first point that you are not blogging for money on topic that you like is a good step.
