Copyright and all that stuff

Hello, I'm planning to set up a blog that features curious images and videos found on the web (mmm... how original). You know the stuff. Stupid humans etc... LOL stuff. I've been trolling around trying to get a clearer understanding as to whether I'll be sued for posting an image I found randomly via image search of say, some dude falling over - or whatever. I understand that there are issues around all of this. Do I have to email the source first (a bit tedious if I intend posting regularly), or can I simply hope for the best and if someone gets angry and tells me to remove it, then do so. Or is it kinda like, if they are in a shitty mood then they can successfully *uck me up?

Well if you find the imge via say Google Images... and go to the site that the image is form... you might be able to find some copyright texts... and if you don't... just put the picture on your blog...

I've had my blog for 2 years now and I've had almost 100 different images from various sites.. and no one has ever sued me or even said to me that I should remove it...

If you want to, you can put the link from the site you took the image under the image on your blog... just to be sure

My opinion is.. If you put it on the Internet.. Then you want to SHARE it... and these "LOL" pictures get copied every day so I think that the owner dosen't care... He puts them up on the Interent to give it to others... but this is only my opinion

I found this really nice blog after posting here which has this little blurb when you click the 'about' link http://thisisnthappiness.com/ this guy seems to cover himself nicely with it.. and he's still there.. Could you post your blog address here so I can check it out?.. I've only just started to explore blog world in the last few months. Before that I didn't really know what the word meant so I'm eager to find interesting stuff.. cheers..
