Blog Anniversary, Template Chaos ensued!
Hello everyone, as you might notice I'm extremely new to this blog, a quick intro, my name is Francisco, I live in Portugal and started playing with Blogger and CSS code about a week ago, and I'm finding it a bit hard but its very fun to play with it.
About the Blog:
I've started a Video Game News blog, called Addict3d (link Here!) for about 6 months now, and on it's 6 month anniversary, I thought:
After that I found TheGame template (download Here) and started messing with it around, as you probably notice the big bar over there is gone by choice, I thought It cluttered the page and it would be worthless with the header on top.
It was doing great, but then I started to get into a bumpy road and big problems, and thus I started looking for someone who could help me with these little things and possibly give me more tips and hints on how to improve the blog even further!
Anyway the problem are the following, from top to bottom (here's the template tweaked or destroyed by me :p):
- I searched for the css commands to the RSS feed on the top right corner, next to the tweet icon (that one I found!) is it possible that you guys could help me out finding it so I can learn how to put it in the right order of things?
- The header, I would love to put it centered, but even with the mini-aplications extended code I couldn't find the codes for it, maybe I'm still way too green to locate this but you never know.
- The Post slider (possibly the biggest problem I encountered). I wanted to make a automatic update on the post slider instead of the original that came with the template, despite many attempts I couldn't make it work and worse, I would simply destroy the design the website had, I really wanted this feature to work, if possible of course...
Thats mainly it, It's probably a push-over for ye gods of programing
but for this green vegetable in CSS is hard to crack something like this, so if you could help me, it would mean a lot to me and to my few readers out there!.
PS: I attached my templatee to the post since I can't access the google's website on the Read First thing, hope it's ok!
Cheers,
Francisco

"well you do need a new design despite your usual normal template self, your a hobby now and a favourite pass-time! So lets see what you have, oh this one looks nice!"
